Malai Chicken Tikka | How to cook | Beginners guide ~ Avinash Mukherjee

Ingredients for Afghani Malai Chicken Tikka:

- 500g boneless chicken, cut into cubes
- 1 cup thick yogurt
- 1/2 cup fresh cream
- 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil or ghee
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish and 2 green chillies

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, combine yogurt, fresh cream, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, garam masala, black pepper powder, salt, and oil to make the marinade.

2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover the bowl and keep it aside for at least 1 hour or overnight for better flavor.

3. Put 2 table spoon butter and 2 table spoon ghee in a pan. Heat it well.

4. Put the marinated chicken pieces and cover the lid of the pan. After 10 minutes, turn the chicken upside down to ensure all the sides are well cooked.

5. Cook the chicken until it has a golden-brown color.

6. Garnish the Afghani Malai Chicken Tikka with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot. Enjoy the rich and creamy flavors!

Note: Adjust the spice levels according to your preference.
