Climate science and information are important in the Pacific Islands, where the nexus of climate, ocean, land, geoscience, and culture is key to a sustainable future. The Pacific has long contended with 'data gaps' in international reporting due to the lack and fragmentation of data. Through the development of scenario-based projections, SPC is working to ensure decision-makers have access to the latest scientific data.
