Waffle House shooting in Georgia sends 2 to jail | Here's what we know
A shooting at a Waffle House in Cordele left two people injured early Sunday morning.
The Cordele Police Department said in a social media post that around 3:30 a.m. they responded to a "report of disturbance involving gunfire."
They said that two adult males were injured. One had multiple gunshot wounds and the other was physically assaulted by several people, they said.
They said that no Waffle House staff members were injured during the shooting, and that both victims were transported for medical treatment.
