Garage Build #9 Stoning Pad
We added a Stone base which will act as a capillary break for moisture. It also allows us to get the pad smoother to even out dips or humps. This will help us get a more accurate measurement for our concrete. We used 2B stone, its a bit tough to rake so adding a top layer of 1B's would make raking it a lot easier. We also compacted this stone layer to make sure it was knit together solid.
