Reggiane Re 2005 Sagittario

Breve documentario sul caccia della Regia Aeronautica Reggiane Re-2005 "Sagittario" costruito nella prima metà degli anni '40 del novecento dall'industria Officine Meccaniche Reggiane, oggi scomparsa.
IL Re-2005 Sagittario, appartenente alla serie cinque dei caccia italiani, cioè quelli che montavano il motore Daimler Benz DB 605, rappresenta lo stato dell'arte dell'industria aeronautica italiana, l'aereo caratterizzato da un potente motore, un pesante armamento e dalle sue linee eleganti e affusolate, rimane uno dei caccia più belli e potenti mai costruiti nel corso della seconda guerra mondiale. Realizzato su scala semi-artigianale in circa trenta esemplari, di certo non sufficienti a garantire un effettivo contributo allo sforzo bellico, rimane tuttavia per gli appassionati di aviazione un vero e proprio mito, un'icona , lo stato dell'arte dell'aviazione a pistoni. In questo video ho voluto celebrarlo a modo mio, realizzando un modello in scala 1/48 e facendo un breve documentario sull'aeroplano.

The Re-2005 Sagittarius, belonging to the five series of Italian fighters, that is, those that mounted the Daimler Benz DB 605 engine, represents the state of the art of the Italian aviation industry, the plane characterized by a powerful engine, a heavy armament and from its elegant and tapered lines, it remains one of the most beautiful and powerful fighters ever built during the Second World War. Made on a semi-artisan scale in about thirty specimens, certainly not sufficient to guarantee an effective contribution to the war effort, however, aviation enthusiasts remain a real myth, an icon, the state of the art of aviation in pistons. In this video I wanted to celebrate it in my own way, making a 1/48 scale model and making a short documentary on the airplane.
