Important Note: You need SKS (Smart key) function to make the doors work by touch.
Here are the part #'s for the fobs:
OEM Fob Part # for smart access is 89994-47061
OEM Fob Part # for non-smart access is 89070-47180.

1st Part - Program to start car with new key inserted.
1) Start with closed door
2) Put the old (working) Key in and out 4 times, Leave it in on the 5th insert.
3) Open and close the door 6 times
4) Take out old (working) key (car is now in programming mode)
a. A dash light will be solid; this means it is in programming mode.
5) Put in new key
a. The dash will start to flash. Once the flashing stops, the key is done
b. You should be able to turn on the car with the new key inserted into the key slot

2nd part – Program smart feature so that you can open doors with touch.
1) Start with door open without key inserted
2) Insert old (working) key in and out 2 times (leave key out on the second time)
- Complete next 2 steps within 35 seconds
3) With the key out, open and close the door 2 times
• Close
• Open
• Close
• Open
4) Insert key (original working key) in and out 1 time (Leave key out)
- Complete next 3 steps within 35 seconds
5) Close and open Door twice
• Close
• Open
• Close
• Open
6) Put in the key (old key) and close the door
7) Press power on the dashboard 3 times with 5 seconds in between each push.
Make sure you are not pressing on the break peddle
8) Pull old (working) key out (you are in add mode)
- Locks should lock and unlock
- complete next step within 35 seconds)

9) Press and hold both lock and unlock at the same time (old working lock – original working key) until the locks close and open once
– For me it has taken a few seconds, up to 15 seconds
10) Press the lock and unlock buttons at the same time (New Lock FOB) for about 2 seconds
11) Within 3 seconds, press just the lock button on new fob.
- Car should respond with one quick lock/unlock to verify that the new fob is all set.
Note: If the car responds with two lock/unlocks, that means:
a)It did not work and you have to try again
- You can try skipping step #9. That worked on my sister’s car
b) Your fob is defective
c) You have too many fobs programed to the car - for an additional remote repeat step 8, 9, 10
12) To end this programming, open then close the driver's door or put fob in the slot. You’re done!!!
Test by clicking lock on the doors from inside and outside the car.
• Also test by trying to turn on the car with only the new key inside the car

NOTE: I had a little bit of Problems at the end. On my 2004 it was easy. On my sisters 2005 I had to play with the lock and unlock buttons as the new key was being programmed, and I believe I skipped step #9 for it to finally work. I do not know enough about why. I just know that if it does not flash the emergency lights right away, just play with the buttons like you see me doing in the video. Wish I could be more helpful, but I hope this will save you some money.
For black logo key fobs and vehicles without SKS try this
1. Open the driver door with no fob in slot and the doors unlocked.
2. Insert old fob into slot and remove it twice within 5 seconds.
3. Close and open driver door twice.
• Close
• Open • Close
• Open
4. Insert and remove old fob once (original working).
5. Close and open driver door twice again.
6. Insert old fob in slot and close door.
7. Press power on the dashboard 3 times with 5 seconds in between each push.
8. Remove old fob from slot. - Car should lock and unlock doors twice
9. Press and hold both buttons on new fob at the same time for 2sec.
10. Within 3 seconds, press just the lock button on new fob.
- Car should respond with one quick lock/unlock
- If you get more, try again and this time, press both lock and unlock at the same time for 2 sec.
12. To end this programming, open then close the driver's door or put fob in the slot.
