Thomas Fitzpatrick 1956: Stole a plane drunk,
flew from New Jersey, landed on a Manhattan street
at 3AM. Got arrested. Then did it again in 1958.
True story.

In 1956, Thomas Fitzpatrick left a New York bar,
walked to Teterboro Airport in New Jersey,
stole a Cessna, flew it drunk through the night
and landed it perfectly on a narrow Manhattan street
at 3AM — in front of the same bar.

He was arrested. Paid a small fine. Released.

Two years later — someone at the same bar
said they didn't believe it happened.

So he did it again.
Another stolen plane.
Another Manhattan street landing.
Both times drunk. Both times survived.

The New York Times covered both incidents.
This is 100% verified.

💬 The judge who sentenced him the second time
said he had never seen anything like it.

What do you think the judge said to him?
