#262: IQ Modulator Basics: Operation, measurements, impairments
This video discusses the basics of an IQ modulator, discusses and demonstrates its operation, shows a few typical modulation types as well as the effects of various impairments. It also shows the basic SSB Suppression test. I use a combination of a few Mini-Circuits mixers (ADE-1ASK) for much of the video, and also show one of their IQ Modulator modules (ZFMIQ-10M). As mentioned in the video, there are a few pre-requisite videos that are recommended to watch prior to this video:
