He was part of the elite COM squadron which flies VVIPS such as the President and Prime minister of India He is a Qualified Navigation Instructor, with Instructional tenures in the National Defence Academy and Air Force Academy. He is a Qualified Group Testing Officer who has served on two Service selection Boards (SSB) and also as faculty of the Defence Institute of Psychological Research , entrusted with the policy making and promulgation of SSB selection procedures.
