RIP My sweet, loyal and very loving Chico. I don’t know how to find a “new normal” w/o You😭😭😭

Mourning not only the loss of a family pet… in our family .. our dogs aren’t pets they ARE family members. 17 years ago on November 5, 2004 we adopted into our family these 2 little chihuahua’s
Both liter-mates.. same mother and same father ..sadly , this past Sunday on June 6th 2021 Chico(the black and white little fella) passed away in his sleep. I have never in my adult life felt such heart crushing , shear sadness, guilt feelings , I could tell him good-bye. I am well aware he had 16 great years filled with many wonderful memories with our family .

However grief is something each and everyone one of us share so unique. Not one human being grieves the same way….. and that is okay . Please do not shame someone for how much they cry or how little they cry, some do t cry at all. Just please don’t judge any human for how they grieve a
Loss.
I know for a fact having a furry son for over 16 years the next 3-6 months will be most likely THE hardest I have ever had in my adult life. Be patient AND please show compassion for your friends and family who grieve .
Be there for them.. most times all they need is a hug and arm around them. Nothing said at all.. just a feeling of support is enough .
