Michael Kunkel is a Regional Recruiter for Peace Corps. During his interview at an event for NYU students, he discusses how the practices of sustainability must continue when this generation is gone and this is the "name of the game." He stressed students looking to go into sustainability need to have good collaboration skills coupled with empathy.

Event Details:
On April 11, 2019, over 200 NYU students gathered to learn how they can contribute to a better world, no matter their career path. The event "Building A Sustainable Future: How To Bring Impact To Any Career" was co-hosted by the NYU Center for Sustainable Business and the NYU Wasserman Center for Career Development. The evening entailed a panel discussion and intimate table talks during which industry leaders spoke on the value of mainstreaming social and environmental sustainability throughout their organizations. Organizations represented included HBO, PwC, Eileen Fisher, Bloomberg, Peace Corps, JPMorgan Chase, IBM, PayPal and more.
