Glory Cloud and Message - December 19, 2011

Here is a good perspective by Bill Johnson regarding the Gold dust showing up at Bethel. It's funny that people actually believe that Bethel had somebody dropping gold dust from the celling. Or that they have some sort of contraption built to release gold dust on people. If you were looking up, wouldn't you be able to see that happening?? You can see the ceilings clearly. People will make up any excuse rather than to believe that the impossible could happen. It scares them, because if the impossible is happening then much of what they believed was wrong, and that's too much to take. I've seen gold dust manifest on my clothes. I asked God, why did you do that? He said, "No reason.. I just love you.. It's a gift".. It's just like how a parent gives their child a gift, not because they've been good, but because they love them.. We don't worship signs or miracles, we worship the miracle maker. It's foolish to think that people really do worship this stuff just because they get really excited when they see something like this. If see a sign on road that tells me it's 25 miles to Los Angeles and turn left, I don't stop the car, get out, and worship the sign. I turn left and keep driving. Simple.. Anybody that was normal would get excited when they saw God do a miralce. Many Christians say, "In the last days their will be false miralces". Well, logically, that means that in the last days their will be real miralces as well. Or it would have simply said that in the last days all the miracles that will happen will be false.

Miracles are a gift of the Spirit listed in 1 Corinthians 12 and it is a gift that is not talked about much in the church today. The thing is, the gift of miracles never ceased to exist, but for some reason, it has ceased to exist in the theologies in many Christian churches today, when it never says in the bible that it would stop. Either much of the church in America or the west is wrong, or the bible is wrong when it comes to this issue..

And the other thing is this.. Where does it say in the bible that the point of every church meeting is to sit and listen to some guy preach a sermon.. The bible never even says that we sing songs for the first hour and then listen to a guy talk. This is all tradition adopted from Catholicism. It's not necessarily wrong, but it is wrong when we say that church is supposed to look like that and cannot deviate from that tradition. Hopefully, the church will be changing in the coming years. Hopefully, the church will listen to Holy Spirit on what to do for the meetings instead of following a schedule or traditions of what they think church is supposed to look like..
