Apple just recently released their first pair of over ear headphones, and in typical Apple fashion, what they came out with is far from typical… We All know that Apple tends to have high prices, but this time they seem to have gone farther than most people were expecting.

The Airpods Max retail for an eye watering $550 making them some of the most expensive noise cancelling headphones out there, especially for such a mainstream brand. But even though these dona huge price tag, they do bring a lot to the table that makes their value proposition a little bit less ridiculous.

Unlike many other cheaper options, the Airpods max have an all metal construction, a new innovative canopy headband, and great integration with other Apple products. However is all of that enough to justify their asking price?

To help find out, today I will be comparing the Apple AIrpods max to my current go-to wireless, noise cancelling headphones: The Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700. Even though these headphones aren't perfect, they check all of the boxes that I care about the most and they look good doing it.

Even though the Bose 700’s come in well below the price of the Airpods Max, I think think many people will still be comparing these two when shopping for a great set of premium wireless noise cancelling headphones, and hopefully after watching this video, you will have a better idea of whether or not the Airpods Max are worth their price premium over the Bose, or if you would be better suited to sticking with the lower priced option.
