One year ago today, on Earth Day (!!) we picked up our apple trees on our way home from a short family vacation. We raced the sun on the windiest evening to get 12 trees in the ground in a matter of a few hours.

These trees were the first addition to our property, and eventually, my dream is to have some raised garden beds here, too.
