What is a False Set-Up?

At times, a false or mock setup is necessary. In most cases, this is because of the cemetery conditions such as unstable grave walls, sandy graves, a caved in grave, or dangerous hillside setups.

Today the funeral director, cemetery, and myself agreed, that for the safety of the pallbearers and funeral attendees, as well as the fear of further cave ins, we would set this committal service safely at the bottom of the hillside.

As with all tasks assigned to us as vaultmen, we treat this process with as much care and respect as possible.
