"Almost 100 years ago the very first plane landed here from the test flight Kharkiv-Kyiv. The flight took 3 hours 20 minutes and became regular according to the schedule. At that time there was no talk of an airport - there was only an airfield in Zhulyany.

Since the beginning of the 50s, the complex of the new Kyiv airport was built, but its usual form appeared only a couple of years ago.

Today Kyiv Sikorsky International Airport provides regular flights to more than 140 cities in about 48 countries worldwide. Currently, there are about 2500 flights serviced by the airport monthly. On average, estimated number of passengers arriving at and departing from "Kyiv" airport exceeds 2 million annually.

International Terminal A, opened in 2012, is the largest in the building. 41 check-in counters allow more than 1040 passengers per hour for departure. Of course, epidemiological conditions make their changes to these numbers, but at the moment when the main restrictions are lifted, the airport will be ready to meet the needs of all passengers.

We invite you to walk the path from the airport entrance to the magical "sleeve" that connects the building with the planes. Each such path is the beginning of a great journey, which is why it is so important that it be comfortable.
