The White House has an annual upkeep of $1.4 Billion dollars. From state-of-the-art infrared sensors, missiles, bulletproof glass, a pressure sensitive fence, and a few secret bunkers there are many expensive features of the First Family’s home. The monumental residence is a historical landmark that has an indoor pool, a full basketball court that was added by President Obama, and a tennis pavilion that was added by First Lady Trump. The President of the United States is able to work, play, and live in luxury during their term. Let’s not forget that underneath the White House are several doomsday bunkers to protect our country's most important people. There are many extreme features that make The White House one of the most expensive homes in America.
