Hiking in Padjelanta National Park 2020

Me and Ken decided to hike together again this summer. Last time was in 2018 when we hiked around lake Rogen.
We started this hike in Ritsem and followed the Padjelanta trail down to Staloluokta where we continued along the Nordkalotten trail south until our finish in Kvikkjokk.
The route we took was in total about 160km and we hiked it in 6 days. This gave us time to hike in a comfortable pace and document the hike and test out some new gear.

I can really recommend this route for those who want a less crowded trail then the Kungsleden trail. You can choose to continue on the Padjelanta trail from Staloluokta if you want a somewhat "easier" route. The trail south from Staloluokta along the Nordkalotten trail is a bit more rugged and there are sections where there is further between the cabins. The upside is that it's a really beautiful route and the hike is pretty much all above tree line.

Baseweight for this trip was: 7,7kg (Including camera gear and extra batteries, that added about 2.2kg to the total base weight)

Weight including food for 6.5 days and consumables: 13.5 kg
