DAY 1 - SESSION 3 OF 5 Held Jan 18 & 19, 2023 - US Biochar Initiative and NRCS Soil Health Division staff presented on this new biochar funding process and how Code 336 Soil Carbon Amendment Conservation Practice Standard (also Code 808) can be used to improve soil health and build soil carbon through application of biochar & compost. This practice code pays for the purchase of biochar and for the installation.
