6233 Duchess of Sutherland & 35018 British India Line on The Great Britain IV tour 22/04/22

Welcome to another series where The Great Britain IV tour commences on Day's 1 of 9 starting from London King's Cross to Edinburgh with a break in between at York.
We start off by seeing David smith's Merchant Navy class 35018 British India Line arriving at York with and ECS movement from Carnforth Steamtown WCRC to York NRM in preparation to work The Great Britain IV tour to Edinburgh.
The next day we then see LMS Coronation class 6233 Duchess of Sutherland arriving into York from King's Cross with the first leg of the tour.
We then see 6233 being taken down to Holgate sidings to be turned around at York Thrall Europas turntable.

We then head to platform 10 to see 35018 British India Line depart York for Edinburgh.

We then head over to Northallerton where we see 35018 British India Line pass by in fine fettle on her way to Edinburgh where LMS Royal Scot class 46115 Scots Guardsman will take over for the Inverness part of the tour the next day.
