Answering Some Questions About Workplace Sexual Harassment

There are a lot of questions out there about sexual harassment in the workplace. Erica Domingo, Esq. sits down with Bill Colarulo, Esq. to give some answers about the realities of these incidents.

In 2017, a BBC survey with over 2,000 respondents found that 53 percent of the women polled said they had experienced sexual harassment in the workplace. Twenty percent of the men said they also experienced workplace sexual harassment.

If you are a victim of sexual harassment in the workplace, report the incident to your company's management or Human Resources department. If the company fails to remedy the situation, civil lawsuits are another option. Many sexual harassment cases are taken with a contingent fee agreement, meaning that the client doesn't pay unless the lawsuit is successful.
