The yellow-vented bulbul, or eastern yellow-vented bulbul, is a member of the bulbul family of passerine birds. It is a resident breeder in southeastern Asia from Indochina to the Philippines. It is found in a wide variety of open habitats but not the deep forest.

This pair of birds nest on the top of vegetable fern. Parents bring food to feed their young every day. The food that the mother bird brings to her baby is a small lace and various insects. One day a small snake comes to the nest for eating chicks. But the mother bird came and attacked the snake just in time. After that, the parents find food to feed their chicks until they are fully grown and ready to fly out of the nest.
