Using Drones & AI for Precision Weed Mapping and Spraying - WA Wheat Farm

Come along as we head out to a Wheat & Sheep farm in WA, where we're combining precision ag drone data, AI weed detection, and cutting-edge spraying technology to tackle one of farming’s biggest challenges — weeds.

Agriculture has been one of the fastest adopters of drone technology, and we're now entering a new era. From aerial data capture to real-time AI analysis and autonomous spraying, drones in agriculture are driving smarter, more efficient farming.

In this video, we trial drone data to map green-on-brown weed types. That data is then processed through AI-powered software to generate precise spray files, which are fed directly into a smart sprayer for ultra-targeted application. It’s a game-changer — reducing chemical use, lowering costs, and boosting sustainability.

I absolutely love seeing how modern drone tech is being fused with traditional farming practices — and this project is a prime example of the future of precision agriculture in action.
