Platoon (1986) Veteran Reaction & Review! FIRST TIME WATCHING!!

I really enjoyed Platoon granted some of the scenes had me on the edge of my sit . Oliver Stone does a fantastic job in writing his characters and having expressing the emotions in the scripts.I really felt the trauma of war and not only for the American point of view. Some of the roles played definitely grabbed intention and as a veteran I was really able to grasp some of the hidden messages. Not going to lie I was absolutely furious with some of the decision made in the roles being that my insight is different from a military standpoint. The fact that Stone also focused on the average Vietnamese people's suffering made the film even better than I thought. It really added weight to the movie. You will see in my reaction how I felt and how my emotion's and feelings were effected.
