Bardez Power Shutdown Cancelled For ‘Mann Ki Baat’

The Electricity Department, Government of Goa, has announced the cancellation of the scheduled power shutdown for Bardez on April 26, 2026.

This decision has been taken to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the broadcast of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Mann ki Baat 3.0”, which will be aired from 10:15 AM to 12:15 PM.
The Department has prioritised seamless electricity supply across the State to facilitate an uninterrupted broadcast.

The shutdown will be rescheduled at a later date, with prior notice to the public. The Department has also directed that this update be widely disseminated through media and public platforms for the convenience of citizens.
