There aren't many cars around that can present a career as wide in variety as the Subaru Impreza WRX. From its humble beginnings in the early 90s, to its domination in the WRC just a few years later, to its now iconic position in the world of the JDM fanbase, the Iimpreza WRX is hard to dislike.

Car Retrospective is the series where we look at cars of all shapes and sizes, of all backgrounds and nationalities- if it has at least three wheels and has an engine of some sort, it may appear. We uncover the true histories of some of our much- loved cars, such as the Bugatti Veyron to the Audi Quattro, and from the Lamborghini Countach to the Ford Crown Vic. It's all here!
