Firmware update:
If you have problems with the BOS (balanced optical steady shot) moving around while on a tripod get the 1.02 update here http://bit.ly/2fkwjHf. This is only for certain versions of the camera. It definitely helped my AX53.

Other thoughts:
After having used the camera longer I think the touch screen sensitivity is pretty good. The problem was some of the on sceen buttons are on the edge of the screen and I was hitting a little off the screen so it wasn't hitting the buttons every time..
