RV LIFESTYLE TIP: How to Quickly Dice an Onion

If you cook at all, you probably need diced onions from time to time. The trick to quickly dicing an onion is to peel off the dry skin. Then cut the onion in half through the stem and root. Cut off the stem, but don't cut off the root. Then follow the natural lines of the onion to make vertical slices through most of the onion, other than right at the root. Then turn the onion 90 degrees and cross cut the onion to create perfect diced onions. A handy tip, that once you internalize, will be with you forever.
