Derailment.....Winter's Rigging preforming a Locomotive Recovery July 26th 2022

On Tuesday Morning Winter's Rigging preformed the recovery of a 150-160 ton locomotive that overturned on the edge of an embankment near Dresden NY along Seneca Lake.... It required dragging the big old GE unit some distance to get it off of a concrete culvert and then rolling it upright, then re-railing it for movement to a nearby yd. Four 583 Cat sidebooms, a grading/cleanup dozer and all the rigging and support equipment were used. We started about 8:00 AM and had the engine back on the rails by 11:30 AM
