BACKGROUND
This folk song is sung in remembrance of Ramdev Pir , a 14th century ruler and philosopher in kutch, known for his miraculous power and wisdom who devoted his life for the upliftment of poor and downtrodden of the society. He is believed by many as an incarnation of Lord Krishna.
This song was written by Harji Bhati , a devotee of Ramdev Pir , and meant to be sung directly to him.
