This video was made by Mike Haldas, co-founder of CCTV Camera Pros. He used the 4K security camera that is installed at his house. Then, switched out the 4K camera with a nearly identical 1080p security camera. The angle of view was positioned to be the same.

During video playback from each camera, Mike pauses the video playback and digitally zooms in 4x (400%). This is where you can really see a big difference between the video resolution of a 4K camera vs a 1080p camera. The CCTV Camera Pros logo on Mike's shirt is much clearer. Mike's face is more easily identified as well.

Both cameras were connected to an iDVR-PRO security camera DVR.

These are BNC type security cameras. RG59 Siamese coax cable is used to wire the cameras to the DVR.

Although not demonstrated in the video, both of these surveillance cameras have built-in IR night vision that enable them to capture video in low light and zero light.
