Last year, I decided to relax after being natural for 3 years! This is how my 4C hair looks after ONE FULL YEAR of relaxing. My natural hair just became unmanageable for me while trying to juggle my med school schedule. AND I had damaged it the summer before lol. In my initial video (linked below), I explain why I decided to go back to relaxing my hair. I am in no means trying to convince anyone to go back to the creamy crack lol. I just wanted to share my experience with relaxing my natural hair, over the long term, because that is what I wish I had before relaxing so that I could've made an "informed decision."
