ADAM LAMBERT Auckland Town Hall NZ 2016/01/22 - COMPLETE CONCERT - 1080p & HD Stereo (13/17)

So HEY to all you GLAMBERTS (& everyone else) looking!

This is a 100% Adam Lambert FAN posting this. No professional involvement, no money has changed hands except from me to Adam via my ticket.

It's my third go at recording a complete NZ Adam Lambert concert. The first two were with Queen and have been posted. I was at Waitakere Trusts Stadium in Oct 2010 and it was there that after viewing what I saw I decided I could simply never EVER not capture another performance that I could get to.

And I really need to qualify ALL of that. I'm a 47 year old male, single and NOT gay. I'm a huge music fan, and have been to concerts all my life - hundreds of them. I have a lot of musical interests, none less than the Foo Fighters, who I've collected for over 20 years. Look up Foozealand on Google. Someone owns Dave's brother in law's original demo tape - yes that's me.

So why record when I could just watch as I have for decades? Because you now can - not just with a crappy phone, but a real camera. And IF you are clever a REAL microphone too. I watch 80+ % under the camera, but yes I do loose a lot of the live experience too. It is a trade off.

Would I do it for every concert I go to? Hell no, there isn't enough true talent in the world to waste that kind of time. Adam is to me the Elvis of this generation... it's as simple as that. I feel like I owe it to capture every chance I get to see him - call it weird, call it whatever... he is the real deal, when you get it, you understand.

Adam has gotten better and I think maybe I have too. There are a few "down" moments simply because of the water canons into the standing crowd, but you prob won't even notice.

Dedicated to all the people I met and talked to in line for 7 hours, but mostly to Adam - for just keeping it real. And for flinching waaay less than I did when the PA went BANG - now that's someone there for "Your Entertainment".

So here are 17 videos, straight off the camera from the front of the line on Queen Street to the tear down where I'm being asked to leave the Auckland Town Hall. No song titles as the videos run numbered from start to finish - the camera continued recording directly, so songs may seem to END in mid song but they don't - the next video continues with NO break unless I deliberately told it to stop.

Taken from the centre of the 5th row (ALL the folk in front of me paid for VIP) in 1080p with a Sony DSC-HX60V with Hot Shoe ECM-XYST1M External Semi-Professional Microphone. Sony you ROCK!
