Toon Talks #11 - The Time I Use To Sell Drugs With My Father When I was 15 Years Old Years Old

Toon shares his 2 cents about the time he use to sell drugs with his father at 15 years old. He starts off by commending how his father raised him. His pop was a great role model growing up and layed out a firm foundation for Toon. His father worked management for 30+ years. He recollects being a naive little kid and thinking that drug dealers or selling drugs was cool because drugs dealers use to get money. The lavish lifestyle is what originally interested him in distribution to begin with. Toon remembers working a job at 15 years old under his father and the day they both agreed to quit. Soon after quitting work Toons pop connected with a long time family member who was in the business. Soon after he recalls sitting at the dining room table with his father, his uncle and a cousin who is now a Philadelphia Police officer. It was one of the most surreal moments in his life. He talks about the fast money and how they conducted business. The way he explains it is everything was looking up until the day his house got raided. His father was arrested and he was left to clean up the mess the police made while ransacking the house. Toon says that the police didn't turn many items in and instead kept them for their selves. Money, New Clothing, Electronics and more were some of the things not turned in. Upon his father being bailed out Toon got notified that the police were on to him too. The way Toon paints the story is he doesn't regret anything and is glad to have experienced that. In the end he breaks down in tears because he reminisces on the relation him and his father once had. Toon is not embarrassed to express his self and hides no emotions.
