"Queen of Spades" Interview | Actress Ava Preston | The Filmcraziest Show

In QUEEN OF SPADES, Ava Preston plays Anna, the lead character as her and some friends hear about the urban legend of the Queen of Spades. To summon it, they have to play a game reminiscent of Bloody Mary as they say the Queen's name three times in front of a mirror. They naturally don't believe it's real and play the game; unleashing the Queen in the process.

Filmed in Ottawa, Canada (my hometown!), I was able to speak with Ava Preston about her film for my podcast THE FILMCRAZIEST SHOW. We spoke about creating the chemistry with Kaelen Ohm who plays her mother Mary, playing the game of Queen of Spades and being a self-proclaimed "scaredy cat," seeing the Queen of Spades for the first time on set, being in horror films and much more in between.

QUEEN OF SPADES is now playing in select theatres and will be available On Demand on June 15 in the U.S. and Canada, with the Blu-Ray release coming June 29.
