Advice For Girls From Woman Scientists at Boston Children's Hospital
In honor of the International Day of Women and Girls In Science, we gathered women scientists from across Boston Children’s Hospital and asked their advice for girls wanting to enter the field.
Here are some of the wise words our women scientists had to share:
“Do not let society define your limits.” “Make sure you are heard in the room.” “Don't be afraid if no one’s gone there before.” “Embrace what’s unique about you.” "Find what sparks your interest, and tirelessly work on that." "Do what you love, and be passionate about it." "Speak up, and don't be afraid of taking credit for the work you do."
