Here is a quick and easy how-to fix your kitchenaid mixer if it wobbles when you lock the head.

We had to replace a gear in our kitchenaid Artisan stand mixer after a few intense weeks of bread making. After we put it back together the mixing head wobbled up and down after we would lock it. My wife tried using it a couple times but ended up saying "no, I can't use this because it's damaging the whisk tool and the hook tool"

There is a flathead style screw if you pull up the Kitchaid mixer and this screw is a stopper to get the head in the right position when locking it.
