Original James Bond Aston Martin DB5 restoration (PWJ61)
No junk this time....
In 2009 I had the opportunity to visit the company where they restored the Aston Martin DB5 that was used in the early James Bond movies*. This car was sold in an auction a couple of years before for about 2 Million dollars and was then restored perfectly. I think after that work it was quite a bit more expensive ;-)
*According to newer information, it seems this was one of the four promotion cars that have been built to avertise for the new Goldfinger movie worldwide. The original movie car has been stolen from a Florida hangar in 1997 and has disappeared since then.
