I've had tons of people asking if it was possible to run a given presentation software with only one monitor as well as running OBS and presentation software.

I honestly didn't think it was possible but after playing around with some stuff around the house and searching online I found a very cheap alternative to get it working.

So far this only has been tested in Windows 10 because I do not have access to a Mac.

I am leveraging the HDMI to VGA adapters that can be found at Walmart, OfficeMax, BestBuy, Amazon, Newegg and numerous other places (even with the state of affairs we are in). These adapters can be found for as low as $9.00.

These adapters trick Windows into thinking an actual monitor is connected even though it isn't. We can adjust settings to this ghost monitor just like a real one, which solves our dual monitor issue for our given presentation software.
