SANFORD, Florida - Severe Thunderstorm Warnings were issued in and around the Orlando metropolitan area Monday evening. A severe thunderstorm in Sanford, Florida produced wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour alongside torrential rainfall. Several reports of hail up to quarters also came into the National Weather Service around Orlando with this line of storms.
