DIY Backyard Design Series (4 of 8 Flow)
Here we go – Fourth of Eight in our DIY Backyard Design Series. How to create the perfect backyard this summer and this part is all about creating a space that is easy to flow through.
Ease of movement or flow through the space is very important to think about right now before you begin your working in your Landscape. I cannot tell you how many times I have come into a backyard space that was done by a homeowner and they had everything in one area. There is hardly any room to move at all.
The trick is creating flow from one destination to another destination. Create a reason to go outside then create a reason to flow though the space. You could create flow from the Outdoor Kitchen over to the Outdoor firepit. Or from the firepit over to the Outdoor Basketball Court.
When you are creating this flow remember to leave room to walk between the Outdoor Furniture. You will see a lot of examples of ease of movement or ease of flow though the Outdoor Living Space in this video.
