MATERIALS

PAINT: Unless otherwise specified, all my paints are a 50/50 mix of acrylic paint and white school glue. I add a little water to get the consistency I need for the project I’m doing. I use many different brands of acrylic paint, not particularly fussy. I use semi-gloss Valspar house paint for my white backgrounds (flooding).

RESIN: I have used many brands of resin in the past, reasonable to excellent results with all of them. Recently, I’ve been using “Magic Resin”. Excellent quality and reasonable price. You can buy directly from their website, or on Amazon.

VARNISH: I use Minwax Polycrylic Semi-Gloss to varnish my paintings. Note: DO NOT use Minwax “One Coat” brand on your paintings. Might be a good product for some things, but it’s a disaster on acrylic paintings...total write off.
