Low pressure tires on muskeg compilation
Some highlights from this summer in Northern Alberta to showcase what our low pressure flotation tires from 'Actictrans' can do. Whether for industrial or recreational applications, these tires are designed for low impact travel over the soft muskeg and swamp. These off-road tires are a 2-ply design, 51" tall, 27" wide with double deadlocks. Maximum pressure rated at 11.5 psi, but as tested between 2-7 psi in the swamp. The custom wheels can be manufactured locally in Alberta by Western Canadian Rockwell, and to any specs for bolt pattern and backspacing. The tires are rated for a GVW of 3200 kg (7055 lbs) for a 4-wheel drive vehicle such as our demo Jeep. Amphibious operation is possible, up to a maximum recommended weight of 5000 lbs with the buoyancy coming from the tire volume alone.
