Evaluating the Emplacement Mechanisms of Vredefort Impact Melt Dikes
Melt dikes in the crystalline core of the Vredefort structure disappear a few m below the surface, but near the core-collar boundary, they are deeper. A new composition is found at the boundary. The dikes were emplaced due to long-term modification.
