Tallinn: Fell in love with Estonia's Medieval Capital on our way to Russia! | Almost Diplomatic

[Throwback to pre-pandemic times] On our way to Russia – a trip that we've been planning for so long – we passed by Estonia's capital, Tallinn. My husband, being the history and geography nerd that he is, wanted to try entering Russia via a land border. I thought I was geeky when it came to history but honestly, he's definitely a whole new level. Turned out to be a cost-effective way and seeing one more city in Europe.

Tallinn is a popular stop for cruises but we traveled off-season so it wasn't as crowded. The city – even the Old Town – was full of locals. It's such a picturesque city that I really enjoyed exploring and walking with my camera. :) It's been a while since we all got to travel so I'm reliving some of our old travel memories through video.
