Peter Pumpkinhead Bass Cover

50 years ago, on November 22, 1963, John F. Kennedy, the 35th president of the United States was assassinated in Dallas, Tx. Opportunist that I am, I thought I'd acknowledge this unfortunate anniversary by posting a bass cover of a song that, even though Andy Partridge denies it, many people believe was written about him. The video for the song strongly suggests it anyway. I love it and think it's a great song - nice melody, interesting chord progression, cool guitar chords and thought provoking lyrics.

"The Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead" was a big song for XTC when it was released in 1992 on their album, "Nonsuch". I would have bet the farm that it came out in the late 80's. The great Colin Moulding played the bass and The Crash Test Dummies, another band I really like, did a version of it as well.

Also, this Google+ thing is still really messing up my ability to reply to some comments. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. When I try to reply to certain comments, I get a message saying, "You are not allowed to respond to this comment."
