This training approaches movement from the basis of an articulated, soft, agile, fast and powerful body, taking advantage of the movement capacity of the spine as a motor: curves, spirals, twists, ripples and combined undulating movements. We go through floor work, with rolls, glides, simple acrobatic movements and jumps. We practice couple and group partnering exercises, building strategies that go from initial subtility to more complex shared paths. We awaken the tuning and the sense of team and we put into practice the different eye ranges, detail, imagination, precision and playfulness.

BIO

Roser López Espinosa's choreographic work is based in a strong physicality, with a great passion for precision, delicacy, acrobatic elements and detail. Cooperation and teamwork go hand in hand in a vital and playful imaginary, with refined poetics and a touch of humour.

After her studies in MTD / High School of Arts of Amsterdam and her training with former Olympic trainer Jaume Miró, she has worked with choreographers Àngels Margarit, Cesc Gelabert, Pere Faura, Iago Pericot, Katie Duck, Marta Reig Torres and filmmaker Isaki Lacuesta, among others.

Her work as a maker has received international recognition with several prizes
(The lizard's skin is awarded Solo First Prize at Masdanza in 2006, among others)
and is regularly present at international stages with pieces Lowland, November or Hand to hand. In 2017 she creates L'estol, a large scale piece for National Dance Production of Catalonia. Invited choreographer at international dance companies such as Conny Jansen Danst (The Netherlands) and Skånes Dansteater (Sweden). Guest teacher at international dance centres. She collaborates with circus companies such as Circ Pànic (Catalonia) and Cie XY (France).

She is a resident artist in theater Mercat de les Flors 2018-20 and an associated artist at creation centre La Caldera in Barcelona.
