Pulsar Thermion XQ50 - Zeroing on centerfire rifle at 50 and 100 yards - First Hunt Footage

The conditions on this mid-May day were absolutely abysmal for thermal optic viewing and demonstration. The humidity was very high and with moderate temps the conditions eventually deteriorated into a fog / mist condition.

This video show some of the methods for zeroing thermal optics using foil patches and navigating the one shot zeroing menu. We were able to squeeze in a hog hunt at sunset but after that hunt the conditions worsened and we called it a night.

This video should not be used to judge the overall image capability of the Thermion XQ50 rather it should be referred to for how it performs in poor environmental conditions.

Either way it was a fun hunt and range trip and thanks to Carpe Sus for inviting me along to join him for the hunt.
