Disaster made by a leacky seal !

I have bought this bike with the output shaft seal of the gearbox leaking.
I had no ideea how bad because only a few drops were visible. But i was topping up the oil in the gearbox with more and more oil.
I have now finally had the time to adress this.
I made a few long distances trips ( 6-7k km) but on short trips almost no oil was leaking. Probably because the transmission did not have time to get warm and the oil was still thick.

I now have the confirmation that, indeed, all this oil was gathering inside the swingarm.

I suspect there was more oil here than in the gearbox :)

Enjoy! No gears were harmed in this experience. On the contrary, the rear spline was very lubed in comparison with input shaft spline. At some point those shafts were spinning inside oil, but BMW changed this shortly after the release of this model.

I will turn this one back into a dry shaft :)
