Ep. 01 TRAIN-WRECK BATHROOM MAKEOVER // Abandoned Bldg Renovation

This bathroom was absolutely disgusting (aka the “trainspotting bathroom), so the DIY renovation is pretty dramatic – I built a concrete and wood sink and countertop, installed floor tile, and applied a concrete skim coat to the walls…and of course installed a new toilet. The before and after makeover is drastic, so make sure to watch this bathroom remodel until the end. I’m really happy how this half bath / powder room came out.

For the concrete sink, I used Fishstone's HP50 concrete mix + super six admix with PVA fibers. This concrete mix is super flowly and yields a very clean surface right out of the concrete form.
